Encouraging Scripture on Financial Planning

We are called to be good stewards with our money, to get out of debt, to save, to tithe and to invest.  Be encouraged, the Bible has a lot to say about finances.  You and your spouse can pray for God's purpose for your finances.       


Tithing
10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. Malachi 3:10


Debt
12 The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. Deuteronomy 28:12



Making an Effort to Pay Off Debt
7 The rich rule over the poor,
and the borrower is slave to the lender. Proverbs 22:7
