Think about..
(Excerpt from CBS workbook- The Divided Kingdom and The Minor Prophets Vol.2)
Think about trusting God in more significant ways.
In a wry beatitude, the English poet Alexander Pope said, "Blessed is he who expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed." Is it fear of being disappointed that keeps us from expecting more from God? We serve a God "who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine" (Ephesians 3:20). At the start of our day, before we ask for anything in prayer, if we first spend time reflecting on how great our God is, our prayers will be filled with an expectation that pleases Him: "In the morning, O Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before You and wait in expectation" (Pslam 5:3).
